Together we can do this 😁
What are the ways you cope when you are at your lowest?
Let us all share tips, to build a vital range of coping tools to help us all 💜💕
@Amanda84 hide under my blanket and cry for hours sometimes days, also sleep doc.sleep always makes things better 💖 and even venting on here (when I'm brave enough) 💖
Yeah they are not great tips😕
@Tinywhisper11
They are great tips because:
They work for you.
Being vulnerable on here isn't easy, wearing your heart on your sleeve isn't easy, you don't ever know what people's reactions will be.
Rest is vital.
A weighted blanket and all our favourite things around us helps.
On my worse day, I cannot wait to get home, there's a comfort and solace in getting into your own fluffy pyjamas and socks, getting your favourite blanket, being in your own space, and chilling with a good dinner and snacks 💕💜
Me too....i hug my human sized pillows... Whatever works mate! Gotta let it out somehow!
@Amanda84
Listening to music. In fact I’ve created a playlist for literally everything in my life like to sleep to, exercising, etc and even for when I’m at my lowest and that specific playlist is to help me get back to my highest point.
Writing out my lowest point and the causes of me being there or why I’m there in the forms of journaling or creating my own songs
Saying it on here which is me showing vulnerability which is not easy.
Closing my eyes and dreaming about the highest point which motivates me to get there
Never giving up and always surviving no matter what when it comes to anything including getting out of my lowest point and getting to the highest point
Talking to myself about it bc I’m always there for me.

Like @akunknown, I have a musical playlist for just about every mood or state of mind I'm in.
Here is one that someone else told me about and I find it helps a lot.
When I am on vacation, away from work, I'm typically at my happiest. I was told to pick up a rock while walking around and keep it in my pocket. When I start feeling down and out, I pull that rock out of my pocket and close my eyes and think back to when I was on vacation, walking around and how happy it made me.
@Amanda84 I usually just lay down, close my eyes, and take deep breaths. It's like my form of meditating. It always slows my heartbeat and allows me to think more clearly about the situation.
I quiet my mind as much as possible from there low point snd think bout da good thats come my way over da years
