September 2016 Goals
A place to share this months goals and share how they are going. In my experience it is often easier to meet goals that follow the SMART framework ... for more information on what is the SMART framework, you can check out this post.
Encouraged format of sharing goal including example :
This months goal will be to have a more healthy routine by end of the month.
Week one - Get up at least one day setting alarm for 9 am get washed & dressed ensuring that I Eat 3 meals a day everyday
Week two - Get up at least 3 days setting alarm for 9am , get wash & dressed. Sticking to 3 meals a day. Also do at least one excercise task iin the week. (walk the dog or housework / garden)
Week three - Set alarm for 9 am everyday but one day for rest day. Get washed & dressed , sticking to to the 3 meals a day. Try do at least 3 tasks during that week. (exercise, meet a friend, housework etc)
Week four - as above however trying to complete a task everyday but a day of rest where on that day the task will be something for me to enjoy or relax.
Progress Report on today's goal (finishing all small figures in progress) : sorry if this seems redundant to be putting up progress reports throughout the day, but it really seems to keep me motivated. But all of the painting is done. Waiting for the mod podge to finish drying for the afgan, bull dogs, and boxer. The dog with the collar and Dalmatians are ready for their last stage of decoration.
Hi @straightforwardPine8156 !
I think it's a great idea to keep yourself motivated by posting your progress. You seem to be so engaged and enjoying it so much that you got me to feel engaged with you and your dogs!
I would love to see the end result, if you feel like sharing images of it some time!
I hope you keep having fun and enjoy all your September adventures!
Big HUG
P.S.: What happened with the misfit baby zebra?
@BasilLeaf I will definitely share images of what I have done. At the very least, I will post a the link to my website the end of this month when it's up.
And as for the zebra, I actually paint all kinds of animals. I do dogs, cats, horses, dolfins, birds. Anything I find that strikes my fancy. But the vast majority of my figures are dogs- I'm a huge dog lover, so I'm much more likely to pick up a dog figure if I see it. And as for the zebra, I'm not sure what I'm going to do with her yet, but it's a challenge I'm excited to take on nonetheless. She's SO CUTE!
Anyways I'm really happy you are following my progress. Knowing that people are concerned with how my work goes keeps me motivated and focused. I will definitely continuing posting as ai go along.
My goals
to improve myself,
Eat healthier and go for walks
My goal is to continue progressing in moving forward into happiness after my break up and continue making time for loved ones and not isolating myself. Also to continue volunteering my time to help others in any form that may be.
Progress Report on today's goal (to finish the small figures in progress) : Dammit! Mod Podge is taking longer to dry than anticipated. Whatever, I'm determined to get these all done. The bassett hound is done, so is the dog with a collar. And I can prep bows and eyes for the figures that are still drying. Might have to put a blow dryer to them but that's not ideal. Still full of energy.
Well, I almost reached my goal today. By almost I mean literally 99.9% complete. That 0.01% that didn't get done was due to something out of my control: I didn't have a strong enough glue to bind the dalmation figures to the base I made for them. Everything else that could get done however, got done. So as far as I'm concerned, I reached my goal for today. Time to call it a night.
@straightforwardPine8156 Great job meeting your goals today! Use Thai as motivation to know you can reach your goals tomorrow too. #momentum
