September 2016 Goals
A place to share this months goals and share how they are going. In my experience it is often easier to meet goals that follow the SMART framework ... for more information on what is the SMART framework, you can check out this post.
Encouraged format of sharing goal including example :
This months goal will be to have a more healthy routine by end of the month.
Week one - Get up at least one day setting alarm for 9 am get washed & dressed ensuring that I Eat 3 meals a day everyday
Week two - Get up at least 3 days setting alarm for 9am , get wash & dressed. Sticking to 3 meals a day. Also do at least one excercise task iin the week. (walk the dog or housework / garden)
Week three - Set alarm for 9 am everyday but one day for rest day. Get washed & dressed , sticking to to the 3 meals a day. Try do at least 3 tasks during that week. (exercise, meet a friend, housework etc)
Week four - as above however trying to complete a task everyday but a day of rest where on that day the task will be something for me to enjoy or relax.
I've realized that I have isolated myself over the past couple of years, or more, and I have abandoned many of the things that give me joy. So most of my goals work towards that. I also wanted to mention a phone app I found that has helped me. It's called Rewire. You can set up habits you want start and keeps track of how well you are doing them. It has made me more aware of how often I just ignore working on my goals. Anyway my goals for September.
- I love doing art and I abandoned it this past year, so I'm working towards doing some painting or drawing everyday.
- I'm going to do a little house cleaning and clearing out of unneeded stuff everyday. I won't expect to have a spotless beautifully organized house by the end of the month but I want to show some progress.
- I'm going to continue to make an effort to get out more and be more social. I'm not going to be hard on myself if I don't make as much progress as I think I should.

I know how hard it can be to control your ADHD as I'm affected by it myself but that's also why I'm proud of you for that goal! This won't be an easy goal to achieve but I believe that you can do this! :)
Do you already have a plan on how you want to get your ADHD under control?

@hardworkingSky2873
Whoa, I am extremely impressed by how awesome your goals are! That is amazing! :o
You not only want to get forward in your job which is a great thing to work hard for but you also have set incredible goals for your very own behavior and personality! That really is impressive and I really hope that you can achieve all those wonderful goals.
In addition to that you want to travel with confident and fun attitude which can be a very great thing to do! May I ask where you want to travel and how you think you could achieve all of your goals? :)
My Goal for September: Start my art website.
My Goal for this Week: Complete all small figures in Section A of my Studio.
My Goal for Today: Paint on the 'Skeletons' of the remaining small figures, and Super Glue Dalmatian figures to base. There are 9 figures in all that need skeletons: 2 sheep dogs, a Schnauzer, an new bassett hound, 2 labs, 1 cocker spaniel, 1 shitzu, and (randomly) a baby zebra. Let's see how this goes!
My goals for this month are:
- Keeping up with my schoolwork
- Continue taking care of myself (healthy eating, sleeping enough)
- Doing at least one thing for myself each day that I will be myself thankfull for (Meditating, excersizing, writing, making music, watching a documentary, reading)
My goals this month:
- Mediate everyday at least 5 minutes
- Finish my internship on 7 cups, complete listening hours and group mod training
- Exercise at least 3 times a week doing things I enjoy
- Finish reenrolling in Uni and make a plan for 2017
So this year, I haven't really done much in the sense of pursuing my passions. Writing and acting, two of my biggest passions.
By the end of Spetember, I want to have written something, anything, even if it's only a short, sappy story. And I want to book a few auditions. Even if I don't get the parts, I want to get back into auditioning for things.
My mum worries that I focus too much on roles with issues similar to my own and I keep trying to explain to her that I look for those roles because I can relate and portray those characters pretty well. So another goal is to find something that isn't typical for the role that normally portray.
By the end of this month, I would like to have let go of someone I love. I'm finding it very tough, but with enough positivity and a willingness to grow, I want to move into October with a positive spirit.
