What motivates you?

Inspiration or motivation can be drawn from anything.

The drive to achieve your goal can be derived from a childhood dream, inspiration from an idol such as a parent or public figure...etc.

My goal of being a doctor stemmed from when I was a child. I just knew it was what I wanted to dedicate my life to.

What was the inspiration for your goals? And what keeps you motivated to achieve them?

@anonyLemon4233 True. I believe the goal would be the ultimate intrinsic motivation.

@comfortableNight4463

I have a desire to become a doctor as well!

But I think one of my greatest goals and ultimate goals in life is to become a great father. Growing up with a great and loving mother shown me the importance of being a good parent to someone else is. I think now as someone who is well too young to have kids, I still find inspiration and motivation in my actions through considering what kind of parent I will be in the future.

@sunnyWriting4806 Oh yes! Absolutely lovely. Having a lovely family to come home to is bliss. I wish you all the best! U got this! I too do the same. Whenever I'm lazy to clean, I just think I would be setting a bad example for my future children. Thanks for sharing!

I would say younger me inspires me. Whenever I feel like giving up I think of myself as a kid and all the hopes and dreams I had. I don't want to disappoint that version of me so I keep trying my best even when I want to give up.

My goal was to get my dream job. My inspiration was how I was doing it for others when I did it as a volunteer and how I was satisfied with it. What kept me to stay motivated? That I am still moving towards my goal, even slowly, even in a wrong way, even feeling terrible at times.

But also, unfortunately I feel I need to revisit my goals again and change them to be more appropriate.

Delivering a healthy baby. I now eat regularly, have a more regular sleep schedule, get light exercise, meditate daily. I want my baby to be happy and healthy. So I have to take care of my body so my body can grow my baby up strong! 💪
