"All dreams are within reach. All you have to do is keep moving towards them."
This quote, to me, sums up a fact that I have posted here before.
Anyway, I once read a peer-reviewed article in one of my psychology classes that stated that the number one attribute and indicator for future success was persistence--the act of putting in the work day after day, no matter how ponderous. The same article went on to say that persistence even outranked other attributes such as innate talent or privilege.
In my own experience I would have to say that I agree. Even with just losing weight, I had to be persistent about it, and move towards my goal everyday.
I feel like goals/dreams seem insurmountable to a lot of people, but days do turn into weeks into months and years. So just chase after those dreams, one day at a time. :)
@sereneSunset26 Yes exactly persistence and perseverance is key

You know, it's interesting, when you look up these words in the dictionary the definitions are pretty dang similar.
However, I would have to say that, for me, perseverance implies the quality of being persistent--especially in the face of an overwhelming trial.
