I thought it might be interesting to create a thread devoted to talking songwriting processes, getting out of writers block etc AND to sharing lyric ideas and excerpts =] And with that spirit in mind, here's something I wrote/recorded the other day about the feeling of lost trust in a relationship. Gentle atrophy 

This house is draped in flames

Of infidelity

I can’t seem to understand

Why you don’t show your hand

Angled from the start,

for the part of the innocent man
