“Waiting for the End” — learning to let go and start again

March 19th

I’ve been listening to Waiting for the End by Linkin Park, and it hits differently now.

Before, I thought this song was just about loss.
But now I feel like it’s about acceptance.

“Waiting for the end to come, wishing I had strength to stand…”
That line feels so real when you’re stuck between holding on and letting go.

I used to think endings meant failure.
Like if something didn’t work out, it meant I did something wrong.

But now I’m starting to understand—
sometimes endings are just part of growing.

You don’t always get closure.
You don’t always feel ready.
But you still have to move forward.

This song reminds me that:

  • It’s okay to feel lost

  • It’s okay to not have everything figured out

  • And it’s okay to start again, even when it hurts

I’m not waiting for the end anymore.
I’m learning to accept it—and rebuild from there.
