What is your go-to karaoke song?
Hey all,
Figured this would be a pretty fun question to ask, assuming y'all do karaoke.
For myself, I like to go with the classics: Ain't No Sunshine, Tiny Dancer, Against All Odds--definitely a ballad fan.
Last time I did karaoke, I sang Can You Feel The Love Tonight and I was amazed at how many people in the audience were singing along. It definitely helped to take the edge off of my nerves.
So yeah, for those of you who do karaoke, what are your go-to songs and/or genres of songs?

Such a GREAT question! I have been in my Billie Eilish phase for go to karaoke songs since her last album. My other fav is Khalid, but only his older stuff. I just really love their voices and they just make me want to sing along so naturally. I pretty much butcher their work, but hey, gotta try right lol?

I need to check out those artists for sure!! I do occasionally seek out newer stuff on Tidal, or when it comes up on shuffle, but all too often I default to what I know I like for music tastes.
And as far as singing or karaoke goes, as I feel you know, I truly think the most important part of either is just to have fun--butchering be damned. 😂
So I only thought of this after I made my regular Somebody to Love by Queen, but if you have the range... All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey would be the best. Imagine you're sitting in a karaoke spot, it's February, and that song comes on 😈

I like the way you think, haha. Needless to say, I unfortunately don't have the range for that particular Mariah Carey song 😂. But I agree with you; it's heard so often around the holidays, that busting it out in the new year would be pretty dang hilarious.
So. My go to karaoke song is a bit different. I do Vanilla Ice, ice ice baby. While I do sing other songs throughout the night, this is always my closer and people usually get a kick out of it.
