Contamination ocd blood
I am waiting for a therapist and on meds....I suffer from a range of OCDs. Yesterday I was reading a book on OCD when suddenly I saw a red/brownish spot followed by a same colour smudge. My OCD immediately tried to rub it off or scratch it off with my forefinger and nails. Realising this I washed my hands thoroughly then returned to wipe it off with a moist tissue but then forgot if I washed my hands afterwards.....you see I'm worried about get the AIDs hepatitis A,B,C and other sexually transmitted infections viruses from it. I am 62 and I am retired

I'm sorry you are struggling with this and I hope you get the support that you need.
But theres no way that you would get any virus from this 💙
Thank you so very very much. So the irony of it was that I saw the spot and smudge on the page of the OCD book itself. So you're saying no way I would catch any virus from this?
Thank you. Its been really difficult having had this most of my life. I've decided that its part of my life and to enjoy life as much as I can between spikes. It's means a lot for the hugs. Hugs to you as well. ❤️🙏
