Health ocd
I found out that I most likely have ocd after trying to find help for my health anxiety. I'm really struggling with not googling my symptoms or checking my temperature or pulse ect. I can recognize that my symptoms are most likely due to severe anxiety but the compulsions are so strong and my symptoms are always extremely scary but I am trying really hard to not waste more money by going to the doctors or hospital. It's just hard because the what ifs of possibility of something serious wrong is so strong. I could use some tips and advice.

This can be really difficult and scary.
And googling things convinces us we have every kind of illness.
In those moments, you need to take a deep breath, put in some earphones, listen to music to stop the thoughts, get fresh air, and remind yourself, you are safe, this can't hurt you and it'll pass 💖💜

I just want you to know that you're not alone. It grew for me over time and without even realizing how bad it had gotten.. just from the way I stepped on sidewalk cracks and walked in the road to avoid the problem.. to almost never leaving my home, constantly cleaning (as I've cleaned as part of my career for 10 years and am now jobless so now I'm extra at home), I don't like going in stores bc I touch... Ffs everything lol.. and if I don't I'm having a meltdown in my head. My level of this and the anxiety sit at the same table. I literally can't drive anymore without having a panic attack. Your not alone. ð©·
