I Need Help... Can Anyone Relate?

Hi everyone. I'm new here.

I joined this app hoping I might find people who understand what I'm going through because, honestly, I feel lost right now.

It feels like something has changed in the way my brain processes information. I used to understand things much more easily, but now even a simple sentence can become a struggle. Instead of reading it and moving on, I get stuck on individual words. My mind starts questioning why each word was used, why it's connected to the next one, and whether I've really understood it. I end up reading the same sentence over and over again, but it still feels like I haven't truly taken the information in.

It's not that I can't read or don't know what the words mean. It's like my brain won't let me move on until everything feels completely understood, and even then, it still doesn't feel enough.

Studying has become so painful. My head starts to ache, I get brain fog, and I become mentally exhausted. Sometimes I just stop reading because I don't know what else to do. It's heartbreaking because I genuinely love learning, and I have dreams I don't want to give up on, but right now I feel trapped inside my own mind.

I'm not looking for a diagnosis. I just want to know if anyone has ever experienced something similar.

If you can relate, or if you've been through this before, please reply to this post or send me a message. Even knowing that I'm not alone would mean a lot to me.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I'm genuinely sorry that you are struggling with this.

And feel so alone.

Have you spoken to any teachers/tutors for added help?

You don't deserve to struggle through this alone 💛

Hi 💗

I have tried but no one seems to understand me. I don't have anyone to speak to, that's why I joined here.

Yes I had the same problem two years ago . I am an mbbs student we've huge syllabi and I didn't knew what to do cuz the chapter I took 1 month on other students would finish it in just 2 or 3 days . But when exams came near I decided to just read the books completely at least once no matter if I understand them or not I will just read them and it helped I passed my exams and that gave me assurance that yes I do understand everything it's just my mind that won't accept that and will cling to every word . I'm still slower than the other students but much better than I was 2 years ago .

I don't know if knowing this would help you or not but yes you are not alone
