My late night ocd words
Trigger warning ⚠️// tone is harsh// please take care and consider your triggers before continuing.

.
When you rewrite an line over and over again,
When you come to yourself realizing you finished your task but your mind was taking you to another world,
When getting so frustrated with others over-explaining stuff,
When you never feel your work is enough because you have dozens of scenarios of how could've done things better,
When you debate your own words, can't figure what has been through your mind and what has actually happened,
When you over apologize, because you really love them.
When you're mind won't shut up, keeps this vicious cycle of obsessive thoughts, which lead into harmful compulsives,
You might feel that nothing is going to be ok again, but, as unreasonable that sounds, it will get better eventually.
You might hate yourself, but you can see ocd as an ailment, not something that defines you.
You might give up trying to fight the urges because you think it's out of your control, but that's wrong. We always have a choice.
You might feel no one understands, but you cant be sure, your not in other's heads. As much as true it sounds, you can't read minds technically, there's a chance that your wrong.
For me, sometimes the solution was to change my pov of life, because at times, I was the one imprisoning myself in the depression and anxiety chains caused by ocd or other factors.
