I do, kind of. I scratch my skin till it bleeds

My experience is a bit weird, it first happened so many years ago, i was still a kid and i didn’t know what was happening so i went to a doctor, he just said to my mom “it’s a neurological condition” and i froze like what? I’m crazy?

Throughout the years i started to learn on my own what it was really like.

It stopped for a few years when i was somehow managing my intrusive thoughts,

but now i’m doubting that it was “suppressing” more than “managing” because it came back so ugly, i can’t control it and most of the time i don’t realize i’m doing it until i’m left with scratches all over my arms
