@jesusredeemedme2425 having a day off by some miracle 😁 I was last years either sick or working, because we have an unwritten tradition at work that the childless/empty nesters/ those who are the closest to the workplace take the Christmas shift (just a few hours till like noon but still) so those few who have younger kids, have to come in to the city from villages or locations that require longer commute without a car or travel home for the holidays can do their thing. So most of us who meet the can work Christmas morning with a shrug criteria tend to volunteer to take the shifts if needed. But I somehow am not needed this year and not sick so far so yay. Gonna have a proper Christmas day 😁
Will sleep myself rotten until the bed kicks me out and files for a restraining order. Then wake up and deal with the gigantic mess pile I have on the small table by sweeping it off on the floor so we can use it to put the tree on 😂 Then will decorate the tree with my sad little orange balls (you can read up on the entire orange drama here ) and my favourite straw ornaments and probably pop on some Christmas classics on the TV in the background.
Then I will panic search my bed drawer trying to remember what I bought for everyone and ban everyone from the room until I pack it in gift bags 😂
Then we will have the Christmas dinner (sour cabbage soup, fried salmon with potatoes) and then we have a small Bible read around the tree (a tradition we started when we were older years ago somehow, but we don't have a traditional read. We do return to the birth of Jesus sometimes every few years, but most of the years we just do a random opening or random page number read and then usually read a chapter or two, depending on our mood)
Then we give each other the presents and everyone does what they want. We also have an option to go to church in the eve (10pm or midnight) but it's not a tradition per say. It's more like sometimes we go, sometimes we don't and rather go in the morning of the 25th because we traditionally celebrate on 24th here
And then we visit my grandparents the next day for a tasty meal topped with a gigantic argument that ends with someone yelling every time about something, although the reasons are versatile

@jesusredeemedme2425 ohh... I'm so sorry to hear that. Not even plans with mom to make the day a bit better? My bf is also having a hard time during the holidays, so I can see it must be a bad experience for you.
I chose orange because I am the one decorating the tree lately mostly on my own and the problem with that is I feel like I already did all possible combinations or ornaments and colours we had at home and it's getting boring. So needed something new but won't buy a pack of gold or silver baubles since they are already parts of various sets we have. So wanted something completely new and different I can make new combinations with, and that lead me to orange lol

@jesusredeemedme2425 more like text a lot through ***. I want to go visit him in January tho, but mom wanted to come with me and is already not liking the transport being extremely inconvenient. So we are trying to figure out the best way.
Oh, no worries, just remembered you are extra careful with links so wanted to give you a safer click option with a visible link. I never had issues with our decor until now. I also considered making something but the problem is paper would be just one time use with our cabinets having a moisture issue, then would have to throw it out, didn't want to waste food on a pasta chain or dried oranges and so I chose to buy something that will last. And got stuck with an orange shade of mid life crisis 😂 and the absolute best is they will most likely follow me when I move out because I bought them, noone else wanted orange decor lol. So I just made a commitment until pets, kids or death do us apart because I could not be bothered with a return and a kindly worded why does this not match the picture letter 😭😂

@jesusredeemedme2425 nah. Even if I did, I wouldn't find another orange decor I could use, and they look like they are supposed to in warm light. So will have their intended colour for half a day at least. And well. That's definitely one way to start your collection of Christmas decorations that mean something to you 😂 because these balls have an entire story behind them now, and I'm starting to get attached
They will be passed down for GENERATIONS hehe
@jesusredeemedme2425 yep. Imagine my great-great-grandkids being like these balls belonged to our great-great-grandma. She bought them online and was upset they aren´t matching the color on the picture, but she was lazy to return them and got attached so now here they are now, a family heirloom 🤣

@jesusredeemedme2425 sneezing in the kitchen 😂 got exiled 😭 basically I have my last wisdom tooth surgery on Monday (if I survive until then and don't get sick) and his royal highness my brother got sick. So mom traded places with me until surgery so I sleep in her bed now and she has mine in hopes of delaying the illness since if one of us is sick we all get it sooner or later. And my dad wanted to sleep and I can't use phone or screens in the dark. So am exiled in the kitchen on the rock solid chairs and not having a good time lol

How you feeling?
@jesusredeemedme2425 actually, pretty good. I prayed a little, shifted my antibiotics 30 mins ahead, increased my probiotic dose and did a tiny bit of stretching before taking my meds (and eating bit more heavy food to coat my stomach better). Didn't do anything drastic, just moved my legs a little in a way that made my belly move too. I don't seem to have a negative antibiotic side effect like yesterday for now. And well. Since it was around an hour ago, I think I can go to bed now. Bit worried I tore a stitch but when looking in my mouth I don't seem to have a. Hole or something. In every case, I have a check up scheduled on Thursday to stop by to check on my healing progress. So hoping for the best. How are you feeling today?

I had a tiny headache (like barely there), but that’s gone. Spent the evening with a friend and ran errands, which was fun <3

Yesss, I got quite an enrichment yesterday through various soft foods, so feeling a bit better today. I am also so grateful I wasn't feeling bad after my antibiotics in the eve yesterday.
My cheek hurts a bit more today but that's okay. Should be within normal, as I am taking my antibiotics well. So should not be an infection or anything, just really uncomfy healing sensitivity. I will stop by at the dentist tomorrow to have it checked before the weekend (he's there only mon-thu) so I can get a med refill and peace of mind knowing all is okay and I'm not dying.
Tbh I didn't do a lot since my entire day revolves around meds. Like. Nothing but meds every 2 hours almost. All need a bit of food before. So I pretty much do nothing but have an alarm ring to go eat and take whatever meds are wearing off. I wanted to do something productive, but decided not to do anything while I'm healing up this week, especially since I have a bit of a fever (like 37.5ish). It's not a high one on paper, but when I do have above 37, I am dizzy. So told myself I will rest. And I can jump around next week when I feel better and don't need meds anymore (having 2 weeks off work for this because working at a store involves lifting stuff, bending and talking, everything I won't be able to do all day so soon after) so well. My biggest contribution to society is some CO2 production for all 3 of our barely alive plants. I'm either just sleeping or playing on my phone a bit. Or watching a shorts Cdrama. But that's usually an evening programme

@jesusredeemedme2425 hi, I'm really struggling with my faith right now. Had a horrible experience with a confession a few weeks ago and since then I've been feeling unsure and frustrated with things. I feel disconnected from God. And very far away. I was looking for divine mercy and love and got pure human judgement. I don't want to return to it again now. Feeling confused. Disconnected. And not knowing what to do now. Trying to separate the bad experience from the divine and see it as a human fault. But it's extremely hard. I need some help to connect with God again. And thought maybe you can have help me

Yes I try to forget about it too but can't. Every time I am about to say something more personal I picture seeing it on Google like I'm some sort of a celebrity/youtuber and have my own fandom lol. But that's not something I'm okay with, as i'm in no way a public figure. I reported it and they still haven't gotten back to me on it. I told myself I will definitely not be sharing more personal details until I consult my boyfriend in a few days who will judge the situation and we will see what our next steps will be.
Exhaustion is also amazing when it’s raining, and you’re cozy and warm inside the house, under blankets <3
