Hello,
I am reservedowl321. I am a 49 yo working mother and I'd love to get to know a few of you better. I enjoy to gardening, cooking, travel meeting people from around the world, reading, working out to name a few. Oddly I am becoming a civil war buff lately. I don't have a huge support circle right now, but I make my small circle a priority. Sometimes I don't respond quickly due to my work schedule and cups overwhelm, but I enjoy private and small group chats on here and will do my best to give a substantial supportive response. @Amanda84 Thanks for the hugs :) I had a follow up appointment after surgery which resulted in more allergy meds and I have been extra sleepy because them, so sorry for the delayed response. How are you doing?

I am TC. A volunteer listener at 7 Cups. I'm into gardening, reading, skincare, writing short stories and poems, music, etc. What are some of your favourite plants to work with?
@trueconfidant123 Hello TC. jThanks for reaching out. I have enjoyed seeing your posts too. I love my plants. I am trying to grow Monsteras right now. I also like vegetable gardening and have some garlic overwintering now. Do you garden? What are your hobbies?

Lovely. Monsteras are beautiful and I'd love to have one at some point. I'm afraid because I gathered that they can be difficult. At present, I have a rubber plant, purple queen and lucky bamboo to name a few.

So far the monstera is growing well for me. I tend to kill plants unless they are pretty easy actually, so I don't know about that. Your plants sound really cute. Is your Lucky bamboo in a bonsai shape or anything? I would think that might be hard to take care of for me.

Yes, bonsai lucky bamboo. So far so good. I've had it for a couple of months now. Although I read later that it attracts mosquitoes which turned out to be true. Given I keep it immersed in water and not soil.

Thank you @caringezra 🙏 my favorite thing to cook? Chinese mixed vegetables comes to mind right now. I'm behind on meal playing this week, but I think following my meal plan and cooking whatever is in the plan knowing that the ingredients are there is something I enjoy. I also enjoy planning around what we have in the kitchen. Do you cook? What do you like to cook?
