I read ur bio, with the tent and everything I figured you’d prob be living alone. I’m 16, and I want to live on my own, at least for a little bit, but I don’t get how to make it work. I’ve looked into possible budgets and what resources are around me, but I keep hitting a wall.

My situation is different from a lot of peoples. I am in foster care and things are complicated. But I have looked into actually moving out. And depending on where you live it is possible. You need parent or gaurdians permission to do so. And get emancipated. It is hard in some countries or states. But that would be the way that you can legally be on your own.
You do need a stable income. And figure out transportation to work and grocery stores. Depending on the place when you get emancipated the state can help you find a cheep place to live in.
Can I ask why you want to live on your own?
I kinda want to try it for a bit. Ik my home life isn’t horrible, I’m lucky and etc, but I get bored living in some suburb where nothing happens. I think it would be good for me to get out, and having little challenges would give me something to do.
I’m thinking about getting a job and working for a few months, then trying it out around the end of summer. With my library, I have free Wi-Fi, so I figure I can probably also have a side hustle, I’m just trying to see what it would look like each week.

Living on your own and becoming emancipated is not something that you can just try out. It is a commitment. And depending on how it is done and how your family reacts you might be kicked out and not wanted back. Definitely figuring out logistics before and figuring out how to survive is definitely something you should look into.
