As for Ness, the reason I like him so much is that he's from Earthbound. That's my favorite video game ever. It's fun and imaginative, it's got so much humor, and it kinda makes a lot of pointed satire at society without making the game feel dark. I grew up with that game since I was like.. 8. I still feel just as excited about it as I always have.

Heheh, that's the best way to be. Favorite kid's book? I dunno. It was a TMNT one, and I have no idea what it was called. It was about Michelangelo exploring a little more of the sewers everyday, and the first opening it led him to was right at a curio shop. So he'd go in (in disguise) and listen to the owner's stories about different curios everyday. And they gradually became friends, and it turned out that the owner knew Michelangelo was a turtle all along, but didn't care, something about friendship being stronger than appearance or race. It was a good story. 😊. What's yours?

You mean what other kid's books? I dunno. I remember liking when the hungry caterpillar went on a rampage of eating human food. Other than that, I was obsessed with these "Hank the Cowdog" books. I just don't actually remember anything about them.
I also read my first real book by myself just before 1st grade. It was the Secret of NIMH. I still have vague memories of that one.

I think I read that right around when I turned 6. I only read the original, I didn't know of any others. I read James and the Giant Peach right after that one.
Never read it. Was it inappropriate? I heard it was.
I think people worry too much. I liked it at the time, but I don't remember it too well. Apparently it does have some profane language a couple of times.
