I'm starting a new book called Five Broken Blades. It's about 5 assassins in a medieval Asian setting, who all end up on a mission to assassinate the same king. It's pretty good so far. 50 pages in.
As for watching, I recently saw Zootopia 2. I liked it, and apparently others didn't feel the same. It definitely wasn't as good as the first one.
How do they all assassinate someone at the same time? That’s a lot of coordinating lol

I will say that the second one was inappropriate though, come to think of it. There was a running joke about safewords. I'm not exactly a moral watchdog, but even I kinda cringe at the thought of kids watching that.

There are so many things in so many kids’ movies that go over kids’ heads. They’re made more for the adults that go with the kids to watch them.

Hmmm, I saw one thing, but I don't remember it having a big part. It's like you said, stuff going over kids' heads, which I think is totally fine. I think my only issue with the safeword joke is that I'd just rather not explain it to a kid. It might actually be easier for a non-kinkster to explain. 😅
Bruh, there's too many shows to watch, lol. I've at least kept the other one in mind. I dunno, I play way more video games than watching stuff. Something about passive entertainment just doesn't keep me for very long.

Yeah, the N64 Mario game. Banjo played similarly to DK64. Mario kart was always good, especially for multiplayer

On Mariokart. DK jungle was, like, the first race on the way to rainbow road in the special cup. There's a river, and you have to jump it, but there's also a riverboat going back and forth, and it's technically possible to nearly land on top of it

Been so cranky and stuff because I’m so exhausted and sleep-deprived
I was too. Especially later in the day. I got really upset by places I like closing. Good restaurants and fun places to explore getting replaced by garbage places that I could never force myself to care about. Sleep deprivation also.
I miss third places.

Ugh, I slept so well last night... I had a dream that I was exploring levels in The Backrooms. That was kinda cool. I learned how to jump in midair too

I dunno, I find little places and make them mine. Little places between, that you usually wouldn't find unless you lived really close to them. All those little parks and everything.
Yeah no. My place is not the place to be at all. The living room is the only legit place to entertain, and we don't even have functioning furniture in there for more than two people. It's all falling apart.
It is expensive, but probably not as bad as you'd think.

Yeah, maybe we're that age, and my friends might be the same, but most of them have got bad backs and too many kids. I don't think the beanbag chairs will cut it.

Pop-up poetry slams, gaming events, interviewing random people at parks, scavenger hunts, art days, silent reading events, potlucks, charades, costume parties, throwing rocks into the lake, hunting for frogs, renting out a room at the library to play board games, a group going to a friend’s house to help them clean or organize for a couple of hours, digital detox day with tons of activities available, improv, movie night, hiking, trash cleanup, walking all your dogs together, grabbing a friend’s telescope and checking out the planets.., Are you inspired yet???? <3
Also, just burnout. Need a break.

I wish. People aren't gonna all make it out for a non-special event usually. And I'm not comfy with organizing because I'll forget stuff, I'll be in and out of the communication loop, and I get anxiety about it. 😅 I'll be the leader in other ways. Though, I do occasionally suggest stuff that I don't wanna organize, and make someone else think it's their idea.
Life pressure is no bueno. Don't put any pressure on top of it. You've gotta know how to take breaks. I will make you learn this someday. 😁 But is it anything in particular?

I just meant that sharing beliefs on top of having compatibility with you and being a good person on top of it... I can see why it would be frustrating.

Because it's not me. I stand for good, and I only get bad vibes from the Bible, and most of my experiences with people at churches haven't been too good either. Christians can obviously be good and some of the coolest people, and you're one of them, but I think that has more to do with personal relationship with God or whatever is beyond... Not with the religious grouping or guidelines of how to be.
I want you to feel better too. I want you to actually find some more real fulfillment in your life.
Feels. I’ve had a lot of negative experiences with Christians and the church myself.

I had a super lucid dream last night.
I was working for an old boss, and told him I was leaving because it was a lucid dream. He told me, in a creepy tone "I'll see you again."
Next, I went outside and saw some people in a house. I walked right in and introduced myself, telling them I saw them from outside and wanted to hang out with them. They said sure, that I could hang out with them at 9 am. I told them that I wasn't sure that I'd be around at 9 am, and then they introduced me to a talking platypus. So, I hung out with the platypus, and it turned out to be a woman stuck in a platypus body. We became friends and then she wouldn't let anyone pet her except for me.
That was pretty much it. 😂 I woke up feeling super well-rested.
A platypus? PERRY THE PLATYPUS?????? ;)
