Whatcha been up to lately?
Eh, not much. Lots of reading and writing. Gaming always. Spending some time with friends. What about you?

Constantly being tired? Lol. Plus drawing and reading and attempting to keep up with the dishes XD
Pretty much. Rosie and the guinea girls are doing really well. Nessa sings my praises every time I come in the room. Akira's taken more interest in watching stuff on my phone. Rosie is finally learning a little bit of etiquette for being up on the bed... She takes up a lot of room for a mid sized dog.
Reading - a book called "Chlorine" by Jade Song. It's... Interesting. Not my kind of book really, but I'm still waiting for it to pick up. I dunno how to really explain it.
Writing - poetry stuff that seems like it could be a part of my poem compilation/short story project. Also, still writing a bit at a time on my novel "Garden of Eaten". I dunno how much I've told you about it. 😅
Gaming - Ugh... I'm playing the original Tomb Raider game. I was really enjoying it for a long time, but there are bonus levels after you beat it that are making it feel too long-winded.
I'm tired too... Pretty sure I'm getting sick. I dunno, my throat hurts really bad on one side... But only sometimes. And people around me have been sick too... I just seem to be taking a long time to get there.

I don't hate it or anything. It's not a bad book, I'ma finish it for sure. I just really hope it's got a lot towards the end.
Do tell on the stories? The poem collection is designed to be some of the darkest stuff Ive written, basically creating a conspiracy theory about things I've gone through in my past, as if I were part of an experiment. It's unfortunately gonna be a long project though, because I'm just fitting pieces together as they come to me. As for the full on story, it's been fun to write. It's over halfway to novel length. It's a horror-adventure sort of story, and it's got a lot to do with an alternate world. The part I'm writing right now... They're in that alternate world, on a cruise ship, with a crew of mannequins, sailing over a sea of TV static. A dark figure is turning the mannequins on them. Anyway 😅 the story also low-key explores bigger picture stuff, such as the psychological effects of leaders and media on the consciousness.
It was originally on PS1, I'm playing the PS5 remaster though. I played it way, way back in the day, and I liked it less than I do now. Still, these last bonus levels are a slog. Like, the end of the game takes place in Atlantis, and it's super weird, these monsters hatch from eggs on the wall, there's weird fleshy walls and floors, lots of lava, traps... But the storyline had plenty of that. These extra levels are just way, way more of it, and you can tell that they were just having fun messing around with level design at that point. It would have been awesome if it was one level, but it's four, and they're all unbelievably long. I'm only on the second one, and I couldn't even finish it last night. I had to drop a save and quit. I've got the willpower to finish it...
I'm under the weather a lot... I may only be actually sick like once or twice a year. Problem is, I've been exposed to a lot of sick this week. I've been tired, and for a short bit, my throat was actually sore in one spot. It stopped though, so I dunno

Yeah, it's the nice thing to do. I don't wanna go out again today... My dog woke me up multiple times in the night needing outside. That never happens. Of course it had to be today .. I think I was about to get over this illness and everything. At least she's a good dog that didn't mess all over the floor

No doggy door. She can leap over 6 foot fences without hesitation, so she has to be on a lead.
Not feeling my worst, but pretty bad still. Rosie was having some blood in those stools... We almost took her to the emergency vet. We're monitoring... It seems to be getting better, and I hope it is

Whatcha reading and doing lately?
I'm on a new book, Assassin of Reality by Marina and Sergey Dyachenko... Almost like a weird gritty Russian version of Harry Potter, without magic in the same sense. It's interesting, this is the 2nd book, and the 1st one was likeable.
And I'm on a new game, Goat Simulator 3. 😁 A game that lets me summon giant tentacles to destroy fashion shows, or go into a guy's house and flood it with farm animals and rubber chickens, and morph into the form of a guy in an orange jumpsuit, wearing a cake as a hat, and screaming in the guy's face to wake him up, before activating a jetpack and careening all over the living room. 😂 I feel like a kid again.
