Yeah... I've had a lot of people with anger issues in my life, especially men. A lot of abuse. I tend to kowtow to other people now to avoid anger and confrontation... One guy got mad at me and actually physically hurt me. He both scared, and scarred, me... :(

@jesusredeemedme2425 I can listen to vocaroo, see photos. But video links won't generally play with all my safety stuff on the computer😟 and if I click a youtube link, if it plays I have to immediately log of and tell my carers. I'm free from being a slave, but still not free to live a good life😞

I can watch tv. But it affects my health, something to do with the movements and sound. It confuses my brain and triggers flashbacks. But I look things up with my carers help, in their computers and phones. I was born a slave, and rescued when I was 18 I'm 23 now🙂 after I was rescued I was taken straight to hospital, didn't understand what was going on, in a bad way physically and mentally. But there was this one nurse, who would sit with me for hours, talking to me about her family and life, she would try keep me calm. She was very special, and sh e once said, if she ever had a daughter she would name her lola. So I chose that name ❤

@jesusredeemedme2425 yes my carers can get me books😁❤ voices are just my owners words but with different voices! I also hear the screams of pain, and stuff. It's cptsd yeah. I'm not sure which of my owners were my parents, it was just like one big sex party for the adults. I was led to believe that I was not human. I was a monster sent from satan. And the beatings and torture where to keep my evil from escaping. And the sex was how Jesus liked to watch us demons suffer.

After all what happened I don't want to class myself as any particular religion. But I do believe in God and heaven and angels ❤❤

@jesusredeemedme2425 I can't do alot, being half paralysed, and in constant pain with my spine😟 so I have this site, I like drawing and painting, I like to sit outside with God and joshua under the willow tree and watch the sunrise. I like to spend time listening and the old folks here at the nursing home. They really appreciate the company ❤ I like to learn things, when my carers are free. I have 3 guinea pigs, with a huge enclosure in my room. I love watching them and cuddling them. Otherwise yeah my life is not exciting. But I love it now ❤

@jesusredeemedme2425 I'm ready for the challenge😁❤❤ I really appreciate this ❤ and yes I have not really learnt about money properly it's quite hard for me to understand. I have no idea how much money I actually get, but I ask my carers when I want something, I don't ask for alot, just art stuff really. Imagine never seeing a painting. Not knowing what paint is. Never seeing a sculpture, a cartoon character and illustration in a book. It was so amazing when I got to learn that people create these things. Half of my fingers we're cut off, so I had to work really hard to control a pencil, a paintbrush scissors. But I got there😊 I suddenly was out into a world of technology, animals, nature, music. I was learning it all fast, I had lots of visions in my mind of this new world and my new outlook on it, so when I could control my hands art came quite naturally to me. I'm very proud of myself for my art ❤ and it's my biggest passion ❤

Ask them if you can periodically try a new food as well (they can decide what you get hehe)

A pretty box with a lid (you’ll see lol)
If you deal with anxiety, etc, see if they can find you a fidget. (Check my fidget post for inspo lol)
Part 2:
I want you to make lists.
All the subjects you want to learn about.
The things you’d love to do.
And anything you think would be beneficial.
But especially things you want to learn and do and read and eat…

Ok, so we will actually be doing this together, because I just started doing mine too! <3
This challenge comes in two parts:
First, ask your carers to go to the library for you. <3 Have them go to the kids’ section (this is important!), and have them get non-fiction books for you. Don’t choose any topics; let them walk through the aisles and pick books at random without looking. This will ensure that you get to learn new things, as well as being a fun surprise! See if they can get you 10 books at a time; then you can have a delightful array of choices to pick from <3
Second, use your large sketchbook to create a lapbook. This is a homeschooling concept that I’ve been using. Make a multi-media, creative book about learning! Write down cool things you learn, draw, make hand-drawn maps, write down new words, do copywork (copying down book passages, poems, etc.), write book reviews, make a mind-map (ask me what that is hehe), practice your cursive or calligraphy… Whatever you want! Make learning fun and exciting <3
Kids’ books are the best for this because they’re shorter and to the point… Adult books have a lot of words. It’s harder to pick out the important information. It’s like listening to a long lecture and trying to take notes. Kids’ books pick out the meat of the information and present it to you with illustrations and cool stories and humor. <3
A bonus of us both doing it… We can share ideas, fun topics to learn about, share cool new things we find out, etc. <3 I’m currently working on a book (published in London!) called “What Adults Don’t Know About Art”. It’s not just about art… It’s about life and some of the concepts blew my mind! Highly recommend; see if your carers can snag that one too <3

Tell them how cool and educational and fun it will be <3 Here’s an idea… Tell them about it and ask them what they think about it. After they answer, then ask. You’ll know how they feel about it and it won’t be scary after that <3
Remember, your carers want the best for you! Not just physically, but also emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and more! <3 This will be a great boost to your mental health because it will give you a project to do, and it will help you learn and share with others what you discover, and feel like you have control over at least one thing in your life. That will be so empowering and enriching for you <3

I want you to do the same thing with what you're learning here on 7Cups! Make pages for each topic, or do whatever you'd like <3 Collect the information in a fun and cute and creative way! No rules allowed hehe. Draw, write, make mind maps, graphs, draw maps, timelines, write down vocabulary words and meanings, write down spelling words to practice, copy poems by hand, write short stories or freewrite, practice calligraphy... The possibilities are endless! Start when you see this!
I suggest starting in the exotic animals thread and draw them too! hehe
