@yourlocalIKEA family reunion. Every year the week of my bday. Usually I can’t go but I was in town and I got guilted lol. But ppl were acc so sweet, I was hoping ppl wouldn’t remember bc I don’t see most of my family very often cause we all live in dif states but I woke up and there was a sign on our door saying happy birthday then someone knocked and ran off and dropped a jar of mixed candy lol, and I got to pick where we went out to eat. Kind of I kinda got out of making the decision bc I’m so freaking indecisive lol. And they spared some of my anxiety and didnt sing at dinner!

uhh so basically, a while back, I had this friend on cups that ive chatted with a long time and we're really good friends. I checked in on them cause they haven't replied in ages. They then proceeded to confess? (ish) and essentially they lied a lot about where theyre from, their nationality bla bla bla... they said that everything else e.g. their struggles, congrats and convos we had are mostly real :/ Then they said we can just end our friendship if i dont feel good about it.
im just not sure how to look at it. I told them that they didn't lie about everything and they've confessed so it's fine. They haven't replied to me yet so uh ye...

@yourlocalIKEA Alr lemme explain the drama while my 20 million photos upload. My aunt is freaking insane. She avoided us the whole cruise, wouldn’t talk to us at the airport when we were sitting across from them waiting for our gate, wouldn’t come to any dinners even on my mother’s birthday. Oh guess what she sent in my uncles side of the family group chat on my mother’s bday? Smth like my grandma went to a car show on my uncles bday (he’s like a week after my mom) but cried when we moved? It didn’t make sense. She was all like I’m too distraught to celebrate. It’s my mother’s birthday! Be crazy tmrw let her have one day! Also we never celebrate on our actual birthdays we get together when we can so it doesn’t matter what we do on ppls bdays. Yea she was a total ugh I can’t. But oh she spent time with the baby bc she has some weird obsession with baby’s and kids (I’m not aloud to be alone with her) even tho a couple weeks before the cruise she threatened cps (child protective services) to my cousin bc she smokes. Shes a amazing mom, and that was totally unnecessary actually don’t threaten her child. Anyway yea theres the drama
@yourlocalIKEA a lil warning a couple of these have me bc well I like those photos lol so hope ur ok with that (my sis is in one too, shes the one that looks like burnt toast lmao) Details ok First day we were at sea, drank coffee, swam in the hot-tub, ate too much food lok (all of this was unlimited btw food, coffee, whatever. 2nd day was ketchakan Alaska I think (I have no memory I like dissociate from everything) we went to a lumberjack show that sucked the announcer was so annoying lol we explored the town a little after too. 3rd day was Juno, we went on a whale watching tour it was pretty cool. 4th day was Skagway my fav town it was so cute we tried fry bread Oml it’s like a elephant ear lowkey it’s so good, we explored town and my sister and I forgot to get smth for my mom for her bday the next day so sis ran out to get flowers for her, 5th day we were at sea, celebrated mom, ate too much, hung out, it was formal night too I ate duck (I added a photo) so good omg, also there’s a photo of me and my sis dressed up, 6th day we docked super late in Victoria didnt have much time to explore I got a cat wallet screamed me lol. That’s it

@yourlocalIKEA that’s acc messed up. They should care about your safety and try to help you not just try to get out of the whole situation and not listen to you. They should want people to feel like they can open up not just stay quiet. Ik it’s like a school and schools are big so they prob can’t afford for ppl to feel like they can be vulnerable but that’s sad. don’t they have a counselor? For students to feel like they can talk to someone if they need? School is stressful, and ppl cope with stress differently, there’s no shame in that
