The holidays overwhelm me. My entire family being here, I'm the youngest of 5 and all my siblings have atleast 4 kids, then you have all my aunts and uncles and cousins. It overwhelms my brain and I feel myself shutting down. I feel enclosed and smothered. It upsets me because I'm around people I trust and who I should feel safe with, but I don't feel safe. I don't trust. I fee like I need to be ready to be attacked and to fight back at any moment.

I'm sorry you're having such a hard time. Holidays with family sure can be intense, frustrating, painful, and overwhelming. I hope you feel better soon. :)
