Just affection and age related

Seems like yesterday that I was the 'kid' or at least in college, suddenly I've woken up to find that not only am I no kid anymore, but somehow I've managed to be in my middle 50s, though not much as changed, I more or less look and act like I did 20 years ago.

As a result of this new age adjustment thing, EVERYBODY suddenly seems so young to me, and by default I've become the wise old owl.

I tend to do the ' my dear ' and ' my love ' thing a lot, but I just wanted the entire 7cups community to know I am not being snarky or looking down at you, or talking to you if you were a child.

Quite the contrary, I am a very affection person, never having rec'd a drop of it during my whole childhood, and I am an empathy, so when I read a sad thread here I often answer with a ' my love ' and a series of red hearts if I am at loss to say something helpful.
