Hi! For several years i suffered Borderline Personality Disorder without knowing that i had it.

Since was a child, sometimes i felt that i not fit in my family and i felt not loved.

When i was 12 years old, suddenly i started to cry in the school because i felt alone, always i have felt, that i not fit in any place.

Sometimes i walk alone by the street. I avoid have long relations with friend, sometimes, i dont like have friends, sometimes i dont trust in people.

Sometimes i stay at home isolated, far away from the people.

When i fall in love, i fall in love very quickly. I tend to idealize to the people. And sometimes i am very obsessive.

Lately, i wasdiagnosed with this mental illness.

I need help to cure this.Thank you very much for your attention . Any tip?

I was told I have a delicate chemistry since nothing seems to work for me ... When I was on meds I got suicidal or I would sleep 20 hours .. I would gain weight so nothing works so I give up on pills and just try to meditate instead or write to get the thoughts out of my head...

Thanks for sharing funnyStrawberries5996 :-) I am not taking pills, i am trying to overcome with doing exercise in the morning, and watching my feelings consciously.

Today I discovered that i have Borderline Personality.

I am 34 years old now, i am not married, not children, single.

Not job, looking for job now, because i lost it, the last year, and i was depressed.

And i am inestable in relationships.

And i dont keep long relations with friends.

I need to overcome all of this. Be more stable. I want to get married someday, have children, a job or hobbie with earnings, and have a circle of friends.

I too suffer from BPD. I've been on Prozac for years. It helps with mood swings and anxiety.

I'm not sure that any medication can cure BPD...I'm really hesitant to subscribe to the idea that BPD is all chemical inbalance and there is no behavioural accountability component...

I'm on Valdoxan (Agomelatine) which has been amazing. I'm not sure on it's own it's made that much of a difference to my moods (though it is an anti-D)but it is had an amazing effect on my sleep (and that HAS had an amazing affect on my moods). I can sleep solidly now through the night and it's good quality sleep.(before I was just waking and sleeping randomly, often getting up at 2-3am, oversleeping (12+hr) or having crummy quality sleep.)

Just being rested curbs my irritation and anger, I don't feel as on edge - so I don't have as many destructive emotional outburts, I tend to be able to better control ofmy mood swings and my rages and tantrums. Plus being able to reliably stay awake and alert during the day allows me to actually live, I don't have to constantly watch my days and weeks pass by in an endless, grey blur of pre-dawn mornings or numbed out exhaustion.
