i've made my fp hate me over the course of a few months of hurting him and he doesn't want to talk to me at all anymore. he doesn't think i care about him and says i treat him like an object. i don't know what to do and all i can think about is how badly i want him back and how perfect we used to be together. i'm in therapy but it doesn't feel like enough. i'm getting worse because my entire happiness is based off of how he feels about me. please send some kind of support, i feel like nothing is going to get better for me. i don't know if this forum is active but i don't have anywhere to go anymore, i've ruined all of my friendships and i can't seem to make any new ones no matter how hard i try.

@jewelpetz

Hi, welcome to 7 Cups. I'm sorry about the slow response, especially given that the whole thing you're posting about is feeling like there isn't any support or anyone to talk to. ๐Ÿ’œ

That sounds like a really lonely experience. ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ There's this person who has felt really special to you, who you've shared everything with and leaned on for support. And things used to feel perfect. But now you aren't able to talk to them anymore. And it hurts a lot feeling like there isn't anyone to talk to, to feel like that connection that was so meaningful has been lost, and to feel hopeless about being able to make any new connections that might be equal to that.

If you're looking for someone to talk to periodically or share things with, definitely feel free to either book a chat with me HERE or just reach out by PM. You can also find a list HERE of some other experienced listeners on the site who accept 1-on-1 chats on BPD.

Also just wanted to pass along a list of some ideas for comforting things to do when feeling lonely. (My personal favorite thing to do is just to find something soft and hug it/bury my face in it.) [link]

  • Wrap up in a blanket and watch your favourite TV show
  • Write all your negative feelings on a piece of paper and tear it up
  • Listen to a song or piece of music you find uplifting
  • Write a comforting letter to the part of yourself that is feeling sad or alone
  • Cuddle a pet or a soft toy.
