recently i was diagnosed with bpd. my psychiatrist prescribed me anti depressant like sertraline, valex cr 500 and olanzepine usp. but ever since i started my medication i dont feel any sexual attraction and i cant reach my orgasm. is this normal and does this go away by its own? im really scared about this

I am not a professional and I suggest you go check with your doctors if it is very severe.
However, antidepressant medications do have these kinds of side effects, and these side effects generally go away after weeks or months (depending on the person) after the medication stops. BUT!! DO NOT stop the medications without the permission of the therapists or doctors!!

You are indeed right. There are side effects in many antidepressants that can cause this problem. Sertraline (Zoloft) is one of the most popular meds and it can cause multiple side effects. One of them is reduced sexual drive. I would recommend telling your psychiatrist about it. Because for some people side effects can be a bigger problem than for other. I am pretty sure it’s based on genes, meds you had taken before, etc. Take care of yourself and please listen to your body ❤️
