Well, I was diagnosed like three years ago with BPD but before that they told me I had OCD and then Bipolar, but none of those felt right to me until they told me I had BPD and I was like yeah, finally, I have something real that explains it. the main critteria for BPD is not depression or anxiety (although they come hand in hand with BDP), but overwhelming emotions, like you feel everything so strong and sometimes you overreact for the most little and petty things and can switch instantly from high and happy to have so much anger you can't control it. I struggle with my relantionships, friends, family and partners, I feel all the time that If I do something bad they are going to leave me and hate me, and that is so tiring... usually, I can't sleep because I'm thinking again conversations and interactions, trying to remember If I said something bad or if the other person is mad at me and just hiding it, I overanalize every single detail, face and body expressions and apologize a lot, like A LOT, and all of that is just a small part of all the struggles with BPD, don't make me start on the self-destructive conducts like drugs, self-harm, eating disorders, and even suicide, etc. It is not pretty, at all.
@Pixelau gosh u ve said all my/our struggles ; - ; ! Although they never come out properly from my mouth whenever I deal with a therapy... so I ve never been diagnosed as bpd and am always said to be dramatic .. ; w ;

Most mental health practioners only feel comfortable diagnosing an individual with BPD when we're 18+. If you're interested, you can read more about that here:

As for myself, I'm currently on medication (have finally found the right ones), in therapy, and part of a DBT weekly skills group. My BPD is more managable with this combination.
