Hi there 💜 I read both of your posts, and what I'm hearing from both of them is "the more people know about me, the more that they'll get scared and want to run away. If someone knows that I have BPD, they're more likely to abandon me". 😢

It also sounds like receiving the BPD diagnosis has made things more difficult in that you're now looking at yourself differently and seeing yourself in a more negative light.

When you say that you feel like a bad person, I'm wondering... is it related to feeling like you're hurting others? In talking with other people with BPD, I've noticed that there's often this feeling of "I'm hurting others and I'd understand if they want to get rid of me, but at the same time I'm genuinely trying my best and need them... and I have no idea how to *not* hurt them when my feelings/needs are what they are".

It makes sense that you'd be feeling scared about the FP. I wonder how much your FP knows about BPD or what their reactions were to hearing about the diagnosis. If it might be helpful, this is a pretty nice resource for friends/family of people with BPD:

I'd be happy to message back-and-forth with you if you want to unload thoughts/feelings or have someone else to talk with. 💜
