I guess you must have had a reason for breaking up with him originally--like there was something about the relationship that you weren't happy with. Does it feel like if the current you were put back into that situation, you'd handle things differently?
Yea I didn’t handle my anger well when he didn’t follow through on his promises

That's a good reason to be upset. 🙁 Sorry that he broke his promises... and sorry that if didn't feel like there were alternatives ways of approaching the relationship at the time apart from breaking up.

You saw the truth and made the right choice — but now you’re questioning your decision, when maybe you should be questioning the love you received. Focus less on him, and more on what you truly deserve. Was this really it?
I don’t know, but I do know that I love him and that I have been in love with him for nine years; and feeling like he doesn’t love me anymore is one of the worst pains I’ve ever felt 😭
