hi everyone, I need some help on dealing with jealously issues I want to fix and actively work on . It mostly happens when im in relationships when my partner has an opposite sex friend when they interact with them a lot I don’t know I just feel this pure rage, and sometimes I show it and sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I feel I am very controlling and want to get to a point where those interactions don’t make me reactive. I’m tired of being the jealous girlfriend. Anything helps thank you.

@brightLemon5540

What do you feel this is about ?      his time spent talking to them ? the real fear he may leave?  perhaps the other girl is obvious she is trying to get him ?    or just insecurity that you are enough?

tough questions........ i know

 If things are good between you and him and this talking to others  of the opposite sex  on a subject of interest they share it poses little or no threat to you.... when you react you look like an issue. not them.

I am curious as i read many of these type things and so many seem convinced  that any talk to opposite sex is always a threat and something that must stop NOW ....  This sounds very insecure and show little or no respect for your partners character.

what do you think this jealousy does to your relationship ?  ....perhaps he is growing tired of it.

i get some people like the thought that people are jealous over them but if that is not them ... perhaps they grow embarrassed by your acts of jealousy...

I see you are self reflective on this which is good sign you know it is an issue.  Next time this starts coming up write down your thoughts in moment.... that will give you a better insight on what is driving this response.
