I've been living under a non-Christian rock apparently, lol--had never heard of Pancake Tuesday until today. 😊 Hope you enjoy!
Did anything in particular happen this week that was emotional that you feel like sharing about?

Ha, oh wow, it shocked me to think the whole world doesn't know about pancake Tuesday 😂😂💚
My dad was rushed into hospital, sepsis, so it's been a long, emotional , scary week and I have to be honest, I cried alot and found myself getting very intensely overwhelmed which has never happened and I found it hard to navigate 🩷

Oh wow, that definitely sounds scary, and makes sense that that would be really intense/overwhelming. Not a normal/everyday sort of situation. 🙏 Is he doing better now? Still in the hospital?

He's on a very strong antibiotic to get the sepsis under control, I am exhausted because my dad got very upset because my other siblings haven't reached out and I wasn't happy and told them some home truths 🩷

Gotcha, strong antibiotic makes sense and hoping that that helps. 👍
That's a tough situation to be in with the siblings. 😥 You're in close contact with your dad so you can see exactly what he's going through--physically and then now emotionally with the situation with your siblings. So it feels almost shockingly callous or morally offensive to see how your siblings are acting when you can vividly see just how much it's hurting your dad.
It has been a mixed week.
I am glad I am having time off work but I have fallen ill which is really annoying so I can't really do much when I planned to go out and catch up with friends. It's probably my body telling me to rest but I am struggling with it at the moment.
Looking forward to catching up on some programmes on TV.

Oh yuck, I hope you feel better 💜 Makes sense that your body isn't able to keep up right now with all of the plans that you had for this week. Hoping you're able to catch up with people still once you're healthy again. (And TV sounds like a nice activity if you're feeling sick.)
