bl00d drips on my skin
stinging as I rinse
jeans
vaseline
long sleeves
saying I'm just cold
scratching my thighs
scrubbing my arm
peeling my clothes off of the cuts
there hasn't been a moment in over a month
where my skin has been clear from even fresh scars
I feel like I'm failing
but nobody cares
as long as I hide no one will have to care
its for the best even when it hurts
cuz I don't need my mom overreacting again
