A Love Across the Miles
From November’s light, we built our space,
A love unspoken, in digital grace.
The distance vast, yet hearts so near,
Whispers of love, despite the fear.
With every call, a fleeting touch,
A yearning soul that missed too much.
We tried to bridge the miles between,
Yet walls of silence still were seen.
The climax came, with words unsaid,
A love too quiet, but filled with dread.
I reached for you, but felt the cold,
The distance growing, hearts grown bold.
But as the days grew long and wide,
The love we shared began to slide.
Unspoken truths, emotions strained,
A broken connection, love unchained.
In February’s close, I let it go,
The bond that once had felt like glow.
The distance won, the silence broke,
And in that space, we both awoke.
A lesson learned, a chapter done,
What was once two, became just one.
I’ll carry love, but leave behind,
The past we had, no longer blind.
