A frayed fate
A red thread winds through the midnight skies,
It loops the silence in untold lies.
It pulls on the moons that drift too far,
A tether frayed under each falling star.
A half of me I sure once was,
Now lost beyond the reach of cause.
The stars converse in the dim glow,
Of where I've been, of where I'll go.
They sing of pasts that bloom ahead,
Of future stitched by what we said.
And to keep the presence of me near,
A thread hums through the atmosphere.
No fate too firm, no plan too planned,
Just trembling lines we misunderstand,
And yet it ties us, through ebb and flow
To all the selves we used to know.

@BlueDarkAurora
So beautifully written.
It speaks to me about the fragility and the uncertainty of life and that sometimes, we are hanging on by a thread .
Your words weave a sense of embracing what falls before us, because ultimately life is not seamless, it's to be lived 💜💕

@Amanda84 That is beautiful ^-^ Thank you 💜💖
And lol there's a skeleton dancing behind the words in your gif xD

"No fate too firm, no plan too planned,

🔥🔥🔥🙏
wow, these lines especially. The whole piece so picturesque, vivid in imagery <3 I love it, Blue. The pieces of our selves like celestial bodies, loosely connected, yet still us. So many memories, personalities all in us, through the years. Some we revisit, some we like to hide. I kept thinking of the Universe as the poet too <3 I'm impressed
