All My Life

January 13th
All my life, my voice has been heard silence.
And my heart has been a beat away from me,
Slowing into hushed rivers of blood,
Passing through as crimson violence.
Fugacious waves of rained out sunshine
Left rainbows over my washed-out eyes,
And my earth straightened into a crooked line
With dissipated orbits of tall tale lies.
All my life, I mistakenly believed.
Now I know that my fate is sealed
to never be open—never be fulfilled.
And disconnection will reign—impossibly relieved.
