Careless vampire…
I’ve read your pages.
Immortality?... You would.
I should never have trusted you.
What is this curse you left me?!
What is this thirst you left me?!
I hate this body…
This fragile host of illness and psychosis.
Every day I feel the pain,
I wish you never created me!
How long can you expect this cycle to last?
You’re no top of the food chain…
You’re the lowest of the low.
It’s a dull child who knows less than their father…
With my knowledge comes power greater than yours.

I was comparing my actual dad to a vampire. Its hard to really convey what I mean to people who've never met him... But I just feel like I somehow picked up habits from him that I had to unlearn. Like being macho and egotistical (I still act like that, but only jokingly). There were other things too. Anyway, the reason I thought of a vampire, is that it's weird to remember and imagine growing up in my own house as a kid, it almost seemed like a dark castle in there. He always kept the house so dark, and his sense of decor was interestingly dark. Stuff like gargoyles, suits of armor, chessboards, eagles, black cowboy hats... I only have some of that. I wish I knew what happened to the gargoyles and chessboards... There's still a suit of armor in my living room (you can't actually wear it). And some pretty cool eagle statues too, which I have no idea how he acquired any of it.
About the suit of armor… Have you tried? ;)
No, I'd have to take it apart a little to try, it's a little too small for me, and I have no idea how clean or dangerous it is inside of it. 😅
