I Dream Of Escape.

I dream of escape

as I gaze out the window.

Watch the breeze rustle the grass.

Eye the door.

So close, yet so far.

Could I make it out before anyone noticed?

No one's around.

But...

I have to be the good girl.

I have to sit and work.

I have to behave.

It would be so easy though...

just to run outside

and keep running.

Maybe I could outrun my pain.

Unlikely.

And so...

I dream of escape.
