Lots of.
I know there’s lots,
And lots,
And lots to say
So much fear to face,
So many chances lost,
So many lies and tears
Filling the void in endless layers.
Lots of.
I know there’s lots of questions,
Answers clouded, full of doubts,
Thoughts swirling,
Junk packed tight,
Heart and mind full of weight.
A black liquid,
Dark and thick,
Replacing a pure soul,
Spilling out,
Unnoticed
Onto those who we can’t bear seeing cry.
Losing... so we fight,
Lots of...
A thousand tries,
A thousand times.
Uncertain,
Yet courageous,
Brave,
With the strength we never knew we had.
We are fighting
Lots and lots of fights,
Each day,
Today,
Tonight.
We’re scared of others,
Scared of ourselves,
Fearing the world,
Fearing our minds,
Peering out of windows,
Like silent bystanders,
Watching life as though it’s just a picture,
Lifeless,
Lost somewhere
A life we lost,
A life we’re still trying to find.
We ignite hearts,
Full of doubt,
Yet still we try.
The pain we bear
Bruises on the skin,
But the hurt within is fresh,
Alive,
Growing,
Rotting with time.
It doesn’t heal,
And if it does,
It always comes back,
To haunt us,
To remind us.
For souls like mine,
There’s no cure,
Only hope,
That clings to life
Because death is certain.
But still, we try.
WHY?
Because there’s lots,
And lots of hope left inside,
A flame still burning in
Ashes scattered,
But the fire refuses to die.
It will rain soon,
And we’ll see the rainbows,
Stretching wide across the sky,
Underneath that blue,
With lots of hope,
And lots of life.
@Peonywisteria22 love ur poem sis.
Love the way u expressed hardships of life.
Hope itself is a beautiful cure for the mind which in turn helps the soul to heal. It's a bitterly beautiful thing (eh idk if it makes sense lol).
