My Watercolour World
This is just something I wrote. I don’t write so well but I’ve decided to share this anyways hehe 🥲
‘My Watercolour World’
The world I live in is
A forgotten painting
A strange place
I watch it
In dull shades,
In dismal hues
A grey watercolour world
Everything I see is wet,
And dark.
The world melts and drips.
Its colours intertwine.
The biting cold tingles
In the very marrow of my bones.
But inside I know,
Somehow I know
That light still flickers
Elsewhere.
A reminder that
Light exists
Even when it is unseen
A reminder that
Warmth exists
Even when it is unfelt.
A reminder that
The sun will always be there
Even in the darkest night
This flickering light is my moon
It is my hope
It is all I have left to cherish
In this dark watercolour world

There's light around, you'll *become* it again.
The sun does shine despite how dark the night was, you'll *feel* the rays again.
There's warmth, you'll *embrace* it again.
Hold onto this hope forever, because yess, hope is powerful, and so are *you*!🤗

There can be much beauty and meaning in a monochrome watercolor painting.
There can be beauty and much meaning in verses of sadness.
Your poem sounds authentic, meaningful and beautiful.
The images of a wet, cold dark world are vivid, expressive and beautiful in their own terms.
The images of light and hope, with the Moon as such a central character are very powerful.
So much beauty and meaning must come from an intensely alive soul, with a rich inner life.
You have much to give the world and the people who surround you. For example, you have brought many smiles to my face, and given me many happy moments. I am very grateful to you for that.
