Hi everyone! I’ve been feeling the pull to start sharing some of my poems here. Little pieces of thought, emotion, and whatever my heart happens to spill onto the page. Writing has always helped me make sense of things, and I’m hoping that maybe my words can resonate with someone else too. You’re always welcome to reply, share how a piece made you feel, offer feedback, or even drop your own lines if something inspires you. I’m here to learn, grow, and connect. 💖

Whether you read quietly or join in, I’m grateful you’re here. Poems coming soon! 🌿

The Voices of Truth Can Never Shut Down

There’s a quiet courage
that lives in all of us!
A small, steady spark
that whispers when the world gets loud.
Some truths don’t shout.
They rise like morning light,
soft but unstoppable,
warming places we thought would stay cold.
Even when fear tries to dim them,
even when doubt builds walls
or silence settles heavy in our lungs.....
truth keeps breathing.
It travels through stories,
through trembling hands,
through voices that shake
but speak anyway.
And no matter who tries
to close the door on honesty,
it always finds another crack of light,
another way out.
Because truth isn’t noise.
It’s a pulse.
And pulses don’t stop.
Not really.
The voices of truth
can bend, break, tremble!
But they can never shut down.

Rising With Scars Shining Beautifully

I used to think scars were signs of weakness
quiet marks I should hide
shadows of moments I wished had never touched me.
But life has a way of teaching us softly
that every scar carries a story
and every story carries a strength
that cannot be erased.
I rise today with all that I have lived
with all the pieces I once thought were broken
and I see how they catch the light
in ways untouched skin never could.
There is beauty in surviving
in learning
in healing slowly
even when the world moves fast.
There is beauty in standing up again
in saying I am still here
in letting every healed line
shine like a reminder
that pain has passed
and hope remained.
I rise with my scars
not as proofs of what hurt me
but as gentle reminders
of everything I made it through.
And that is a kind of beauty
that never fades.

@ShadowyourCircle

love this one a lot

scars are battle wounds that the scar tell the story on  each battle we been in trigger warning even the scars we gave our selves'  tell a story of great pain but also the story of overcoming the battles too

please look at each scar as being a battle wound that healed on the skin even if not within it also say how brave you  be to still be here and healing remember healing a journey

@stormieandpaws Thank you so much for your kind words. It truly means a lot to know that my poem reached you. I agree with you… scars really are healed wounds from the battles we have been through. They show how brave we were, even when everything felt overwhelming. We kept trying, we kept healing, and we kept choosing to rise again. Thank you for reminding us that healing is a magical journey to be our self. Every scar reminds us that we made it through something that tried to break us, and that we are still growing into new beginnings and new lessons. Thank you for reminding us that healing is a gentle and magical journey back to ourselves. 🤍✨

A Possum With a Big Heart

There’s a little opossum
who shuffles through the night
with a heart far bigger
than anyone ever sees in the daylight.

He pauses at every fallen leaf,
every quiet corner,
as if the world itself
is something worth caring for.

He carries no armor,
no sharpened teeth on display,
just a gentle courage
that guides him on his way.

Others may call him odd
or overlook his glow,
but he keeps showing up
in every kind act he lets grow.

And maybe that’s the magic
of a heart that’s soft and true:
you don’t need to roar
to change a place
—you just keep being you.

@PossumListener

Thank you for this little gentle story.
I can picture the opossum shuffling through the night,
carrying a quiet heart that shines in its own gentle way.
It makes me think that even the softest courage
and the smallest acts of care
can ripple quietly through the world.
Little kindhearted opossum's words remind me to notice
the tiny lights inside all of us,
and to keep showing up,
even when the night feels long,
even when we feel lost.
Because trusting this small light
is indeed magic.

The Voice Inside Me

Last time I saw that I was there,
but truly I was not there at all.
I did things that still hold me down,
steps that never let me rise.
Little have you heard that voice,
the quiet one inside you
that wants to reach you,
that wishes the best for you
and dreams of a shining fate.
It once did what it believed was meant for me,
but this time I am gently asking
for you to come back.
I want to shine.
Please do not turn away.
I am tired of people saying
that we are not one.
I was enchanted the day I first felt you.
Please lift me up,
do not let me fall again.
Let us light everything inside us.
Please do not go.
I am here on my knees,
not in weakness
but in hope
that you will stay.
I do not want this to end
like all the moments filled with hurt.
This time I want the fog to lift.
I want it to be over.
I am hopeful for the future,
even though fear still follows me.
And I will pray forever
for the day I meet myself fully
and feel whole again.

@stormieandpaws Thank you so much for saying this. It honestly means a lot to feel welcomed here. Sharing my writing has always been a little scary for me too. That fear of being judged or misunderstood is real, so hearing that you went through the same thing makes me feel less alone. I’m really grateful for the kindness in your message. It feels comforting to know this is a space where I can start small, even with just a line or two, and still feel supported. Thank you for being here and for reminding me that taking this step is something I do not have to do alone. 💖

The Candle Of Hope

I stand before the gates that stay closed tight,
each one a shadow in the fading light.
It feels like I am walking all alone,
searching for a path that could be my own.
I pray for miracles to find my way,
for just one door to open up someday.
One simple chance to shift my weary fate,
one moment where a dream might finally wait.
Hope is the thread that I hold close and near,
but fate can make it hard to keep it clear.
Some days I fall beneath the weight I feel,
unsure if what I wish for could be real.
I try to fight the dark when doubts appear,
but pessimism whispers in my ear.
Yet after every cry, when storms go still,
a gentle spark returns against my will.
So even if the world feels dim and wide,
a little flame keeps glowing deep inside.
A candle made of hope that will not die,
soft but strong enough to help me try.
And maybe someday when my heart is brave,
a gate will open for the life I crave.

The Woman Of Quiet Light

There is a woman woven out of dawn,
who rises gently even when strength is gone.
She walks through storms with footsteps soft and slow,
yet carries warmth the world may never know.
She shields my path with patience deep and wide,
a steady calm she never tries to hide.
Even when I falter, argue, stray,
she holds her kindness close and lights the way.
She lifts the burdens I am meant to bear,
and whispers hope into the heavy air.
Her weary hands still shape my every day,
though shadows follow everywhere she may.
I see the quiet battles she must fight,
the silent aches she tucks beneath her light.
Yet still she smiles as if the sky is clear,
as if her soul has never tasted fear.
And in her gaze I find a gentle truth,
a promise soft, a tender proof
that love can stand where pain has tried to stay,
that grace can bloom in the most fragile clay.
Today the world reminds me of her date,
the one she came to life through tender fate.
And though my hands hold nothing wrapped or bright,
I hold a vow within my quiet night.
One day I will be strong enough to say,
rest now, your weary dawn can fade away.
For all the years you carried me in grace,
I will return each kindness to its place.
Until that day, I honor what you are,
a gentle flame that outshines every star.

A Step Toward the Light

Today my hope has found its wings,
rising higher than the past could bring.
A goal once hidden, far and wide,
now draws closer with each stride.
Years of struggle, nights of doubt,
times I questioned what it’s all about,
cannot erase the strength I’ve grown,
the seeds of effort I have sown.
Joy now dances in my chest,
a gentle warmth, a quiet rest.
Each small step, though slow it seems,
is closer to the life of dreams.
So hold your hope, however small,
trust the journey, embrace it all.
For every trial, every fall,
teaches the heart to rise and call:
“Keep going, keep shining, do not despair,
your dreams are waiting, just be there.”
