Paradox of Fulfillment

In pursuit of perfection, we strive and we seek,

But contentment remains forever elusive and meek,

Thus the infinite loop, an unending chase.

He tries to break out of the binding haze,

Reaching and achieving, he craves no more,

As contentment settles, an unexpected lore.

The struggle to live, once a ranging fire,

The reason to live, has now expire.
