For the memories you can create
For the friends who truly care
For those who accept the real you
For the sweetness in laughter
And for the beauty in tears
For all you have to give
The gifts only you can give
The love only you can bring
The light only you can shine.
Stay.
For the universe you are
A miracle. A mystery.
A person who is needed
And wanted
And loved.
Stay.
For each day you woke up
When you were falling apart.
For every battle you fought
When you had nothing left.
Stay.
You have made it here,
And you can go further.

This is amazing!
It is very poetic, with a rhythm and music to it, that supports evocative images and powerful messages. Things that resonate a lot with me, and I guess with fellow members of Cups. If not with all humans.
The verses are beautifully constructed and, at the same time, their intense meaning is clear. It is a triumph both aesthetically, as an artform, and as the vessel for a deep message about the meaning of life, of being alive, of holding our ground despite the daily pain we might endure, and not giving up.
The request to "Stay", the "basso continuo" of the poem that gives it its central structure, both in musical rhythm and meaning, is like a big bell that repeats its potent "dang!" again and again, reminding us of the meaning and value of life: how valuable we are, the wonders of this world, and the priceless value of the love we receive and give to others.
The poem starts so powerful and beautiful, with those images of rays of light in the dark void, and the quiet voice in the middle of silence asking to stay.
And then a strong argumentation in favor of staying, with solid reasons, in a crescendo of emotional significance.
The beauties and wonders of nature, also with light and darkness. The love of others and the love you give.
The recognition of your true nature as an amazing, wonderful existence, whose greatness goes beyond what we can comprehend.
Something we all know in Cups, that you are much needed and loved. So you absolutely have to stay here.
That you can't lose all the ground you gained fighting tough battles. That's holy territory. You have to occupy this precious territory. You will defend all that you gained in those tough, emotionally costly battles.
Finally, the awareness of your strength and resilience, that comes as a logical conclusion: if you could deal with all those battles, and make it here, you are more than strong enough to go even further into the future.
You are such an amazing, creative, bright, loving, strong person, with so much to give others, things that are needed like water in the desert, that the future will be full of great things in your life.
And if anything, this poem proves it. How much you gave us in beauty and encouragement to recognize all that is good in life, even in bad times, and to continue fighting our battles and moving forward.
This poem is a very well-constructed, meaningful, and beautiful piece. It is the product of focused work by a brilliant, creative, emotionally aware, and aesthetically very sensitive person. With something truly significant and wise to say.
The person who wrote this poem is an amazing person, capable of doing great things and giving us so much of what we need. And getting much satisfaction from all this.
This wonderful person is you.
