In summer's heat, she seeks solace,

In sweatshirt's embrace, her safe space.

Cocooned from within, shielding her fears,

Insecure whispers, echoing in her ears.

But beneath the layers, lies a fragile soul,

Masked by fabric, vulnerabilities untold.

Sweating of heat, she hides her skin,

in sweatshirt's cloth, she folds within.

The words that linger from long before,

affect her confidence more and more.

Insecurities chase her soul's flame,

Covered in doubts, she wears her name.

Beneath gray clouds, a delicate grace,

Her heart only wishes for a warm embrace.

Yet she wears her sweatshirt's gentle touch,

finding comfort in this layered crutch.
