But times have changed
A mass shooting on the news
Almost every day
Hard to feel happy
When you don't feel the same
Cuz I thought you were the one
Then you went away
Damage to my heart and brain
I'm not okay
So much pain
Will it always be the same?
So tell me, does that sound happy?
Everyone is always asking how I am
I don't have the answer yet
Because honestly, I don't know
