You waited for me... 

Crept up to me in the night and whispered lies to me on repeat. 

I wanted to believe there was good inside of you, but you only ever showed me darkness. 

The moment I let myself go, is the moment you became a part of me. 

I lost pieces of myself out there. 

I'm just a stranger in my body. 

I don't recognize the person you've changed me into. 

Your the master of illusion. 

I tried to fix it... I tired to fight it. 

But you left me too scarred; too damaged for me to believe things will change. 

I broke into a million pieces and I know I can never go back. 

You are the one who taught me to embrace the darkness. 

I tried to rebel but you screamed at me until I was forced to listen to you. 

These thoughts rewrite my story, and you are the sole author. 

I'm afraid I won't be able to outrun what's running through my veins. 

You are the Ghost I was told to avoid, but I didn't heed the warning. 

This is a battle I won't win.
