Hey, incase nobody asked you this today,
Are you okay?
Are you REALLY fine?
I mean, its okay to feel lost sometimes,
Its alright you don't want to smile.
You don't need to explain bad moments away.
we all get them and get through them..
Don't forget that even the darkest clouds have the sun shining on the other side
So give it time and you will be fine
You'll start to shine brighter and those clouds you once saw covering the light will smile
you'll feel the corners of your mouth naturally rise
you'll know its real because everybody will be able to see it in your eyes
but until then, I was just calling to check on you

For anyone wondering, this was a voicemail I had sent to my ex best friend shortly after we stopped talking, she left me for a man that was horrible to her. I left her voicemails almost everyday... I still miss her and wish I could of saved from becoming who she is now, in prison :/
