Truth As A Commodity
I discovered this when I was but a teen
Everyone wanted the truth
Calling for it on landlines
Looking it up amongst the decimal systems
It was hot
It was it
It was everything
..when it fit their agenda
..made sense of the senselessness
..created excuses for their poor decisions
The truth about truth
And I can say this as a purveyor of it
No one likes it anymore
There's no value in the inconvenience it causes
No, the truth is out
Its not in fashion
Not in demand
For that space is now being resided
By the choice
Of blind ignorance

Yes, it's inconvenient for people.
Or they want to be told they are right to justify their actions.
We cannot control what others do, but we can always uniquely stand by our own values 💜💕
