Walk with grandpa
Walk in the woods with grandpa
the smell of the soil and plants
the sound of the wild animal
to become one with them
see them move and just being
we learned to listen , smell and see it all
time fly by but to us it was not felt or seen
it was just our grandpa and us within the woods
he show us a piece of wood
then say what animal was trapped within it
then he sit on a rock or log
he start carver out the animal within the wood
careful and in slowness you see the animal in the wood too
this is how a master caver does caving
we loved the time with grandpa
due to the lesson learned some without even talking
we see what nature really was to become one with nature
we reamember the long deep talks we had with him
how he told us the woods was his church
the place he connected with God
we loved him dearly due to how hes was
he believed in us and saw us when others did not
so when he died we was young only 10yr
we felt like we lost only one who saw us for who we be
others only saw us as odd and well some said we was crazy too
but grandpa saw who we truly be
so years later we still hear within what he said to us
so we hope some day we see him again
we glad we had him for as long as we did
he said we was his little wild fire other times his little flower
we miss that very much but we believe he still with us
deep within our heart he still their guiding us from beyond
love and peace can be found within the memories of time with grandpa

thank our grandpa was more like dad to us he got us and we could relate to him the lost of him at age 10yr was very hard but we was not allowed to grieve this big lost until a few years ago many times even now we hear things he said to us they are always very helpful
our dad only spent very limited-time with us but he did take us camping fishing and hiking both tuaght us to use tools too
grandpa will away be in our heart gues that were we get our deep thinking from to as grandpa was same way
