Hi everyone!
I'm new here! I love reading little easy-read poems! Drop your favorite short poem in the comments!
Here's one I wrote a few years back
'A little bird flew to a nook and sat a while silently.
He looked at me and I at him,
And finally sang this little hymn,
'Just read your poetry and live a while quietly.'"

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

A personal fav of mine that I studied back in 9th grade and still love years after:
The way a crow shook down on me
The dust of snow from a hemlock tree
Has given my heart a change of mood
And saved some part of a day I had rued
