What you don't see.

Hi there,

Wrote a poem today and decided to share!

What you don't see:

Scream when your not there.

And in the haunted corner of my mind, echoing screams ravage me.

Cry when life is not fair.

Tears run down like a thunderstorm following me.

And sometimes its so hard to flee.

A dark cloud once set to get me.

Become restless and pretend im not making a fuss.

Restless shadows dance on the ground, my shadow a shape so weird, so strange.

And like books in a library,

Thoughts stored within pulling me down from the world underground.

I drown in guilt of my own mistakes,

Guilt swallows me like an anchor in the sea.

Emptiness surrounds me in a world so full.

And when trauma surrounds me,

The world is alienated, in the vision of my feelings.

Wrapped in a blanket, in my distant nightmares and dreams.

Lost in a world of sadness and guilt it seems.

Marks and lines of fear and pain, Not sure if I am going insane.

These are the things you don’t see.

What you don’t see.

Surrounds me.

Drowns me.

Found me.
